Depart from Marrakech and head south towards Imlil, a small village in the high Atlas Mountains. Due to its unique position this picturesque town has become the center of trekking tourism. Located 1and ½ hours outside Marrakech. Situated 1740 meters above sea level, Imlil is just below Djebel Toukbal the highest peak in Northern Africa.
Go small tour in the village to explore the locals selling Berber silver jewelry and typical Moroccan treasures from this area. Enjoy lunch KasbahToukbal’s terrace with its magnificent views of Toukbal, just a 10 minute short walk past the tarmac road.
►After lunch head back down to the town center and return to Marrakesh.
