DETAILED ITINERARY:
Day 1: Fes
Pick you up at the airport and transfer to your Riad.
Day 2: Fes Guided Tour
Optional Guided tour with an official guide and you will be able to explore the UNESCO protected Fes Medina. Fes has up to 9,000 roads and alleyways and the best way to explore it is with an expert. Fes Medina is the oldest and most beautiful in Morocco, almost unchanged since the Middle Ages and declared World Heritage of Humanity in 1981. The doors lead us to a tangle of narrow streets and alleyways around the mosque Kairouine. Its university is the oldest in the world. Visit the neighborhood of the tanners and discover a terrace overlooking the tannery. Night at a Riad.
Day 3: Fes | Volubilis | Meknes
Departure towards Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the largest and well preserved Roman ruins in Northern Africa. Continue the trip towards another Imperial City – Meknes. Visit the Mausoleum Moulay Idriss, and the famous Bab Mansour Monumetal Gate. Night at a Riad.
Day 4: Meknes | Rabat
From the old capital, Meknes, to the current capital of Morocco, Rabat. In the morning, optional Guided Tour with an official guide; you will visit the Oudayas Kasbah, Hassan Tower & Mohammed V Mausoleum, along with the Chellah Gardens & Necropolis. You will be spending the night at a Riad.
Day 5: Rabat | Casablanca | Marrakech
Departure towards Marrakech, on the way you will stop to visit impressive Hassan II Mosque, and you will learn how historically important Casablanca was for Morocco. Continue the joueney to Marrakech, a completely different aspect of Morocco culture. We suggest a stroll in the famous Djemaa el Fna Square. The name literally means ‘place of death’, as it was where Sultans used to display the heads of their enemies. Now, with the food stalls, snake charmers, water-sellers, travelling musicians and acrobats, it is a place of entertainment for both Moroccan and overseas visitors.
Day 6: Marrakech Guided Tour
Optional private Guided Tour to visit Marrakech with an official guide from Marrakech. Visit the famous Koutubia Mosque, the Medina and its souks, and explore some more of Marrakech’s secrets: Ali Ben Youssef Koranic school, the Saadian Tombs, the Bahia Palace and Majorelle Gardens. Night at a Riad in the Medina.
Day 7: Departure from Marrakesh airport
Transfer to the airport on time of your flight. End of our services.
