DETAILED ITINERARY:

Day 1: Arrive to Marrakech

Pick you up at the airport and transfer to your Riad. Free time to relax while exploring the main square Jemaa el Fnaa and the souks. Night at a Riad in the Medina.

Day 2: Marrakech Guided Tour

Optional private Guided Tour to visit Marrakech with an official guide from Marrakech. Visit the famous Koutubia Mosque, the Medina and its souks, and explore some more of Marrakech’s secrets: Ali Ben Youssef Koranic School, the Saadian Tombs, the Bahia Palace and Majorelle Gardens. Night at a Riad in the Medina.

Day 3: Marrakech | Essaouira

The driver will pick you up in the morning to you drive towards Essaouira. Essaouira, fishing village, old Mogador, name given by the Portuguese. Time to explore the old Medina and the Scala, where you can still see the old portuguese fortress.Wellknown for its annual festival of Gnoua. We suggest dinner in the main square Prince Moulay el Hassan.

Day 4: Essaouira | Ait Ben Haddou | Ouarzazate

After breakfast, you’ll head towards Ouarzazate, relatively new city is home to the Kasbah Taourirte once owned by the Glaouis family, who ruled Morocco. Cross the Tizi n Tichka Pass of the High Atlas Mountains. Along the way, stop to visit the UNESCO World Heritage site at Ait Ben Haddou. Continue the trip towards Ouarzazate to visit the main Berber city and the Kasbah Taourirte.. Dinner and night at a beautiful Riad.

Day 5: Ouarzazate | Dades Gorges

Departure towards Skoura, a beautiful Oasis, 35km east of Ouarzazate in the Dades valley, or ‘Valley of a thousand Kasbahs’ as it is known. Visit Kasbah Amerhidl, the most impressive among the many attractive kasbahs in Skoura, dating back to the 17th century. Continue the trip to explore the fascinating Dades Valley and its famous Gorges. Arrive to Dades Gorges. Dinner and night in an Auberge in the mountains.

Day 6: Dades Gorges | Todra Gorges | Erg Chebbi in Sahara Desert

Today, your destination is the Desert. In the afternoon, arrive to a charming Auberge at the Erg Chebbi Dunes. Detour to visit Todra Gorges, the most impressive canyon in Morocco. Camel Trekking into the desert and stop on the way to admire sunset. Dinner under the stars and night in a Berber-style tent. We have our own private camp area. If you prefer not to camp out, you can decide Camel Trekking for one hour to admire sunset and return to Auberge to spend the night.

Day 7: Erg Chebbi Tour in Sahara Desert

You will have the whole day to explore the Erg Chebbi region in the Sahara Desert. Visit a local musical village Khamlia, share a tea with a nomadic family, discover the fossil, see the biggest lake in the area and the beautiful oases in Merzouga village . You will also have the opportunity to experience a part of the former “Dakar” offroad in the dunes. Dinner and night at a saharien stylish room at a beautiful Auberge.

Day 8: Erg Chebbi | Ziz Valley | Fes

After rising early, you will be able to admire sunrise and go Camel Trekking back to the Auberge. After you will venture into the verdant Ziz Valley. You’ll head north through the Middle Atlas Mountains, pass Midelt, Ifrane the “Switzerland of Morocco”, and finally be dropped off at your Riad in Fes.

Day 9: Fes Guided Tour

Optional Guided tour with an official guide and you will be able to explore the UNESCO protected Fes Medina. Fes has up to 9,000 roads and alleyways and the best way to explore it is with an expert. Fes Medina is the oldest and most beautiful in Morocco, almost unchanged since the Middle Ages and declared World Heritage of Humanity in 1981. The doors lead us to a tangle of narrow streets and alleyways around the mosque Kairouine. Its university is the oldest in the world. Visit the neighborhood of the tanners. Night at a Riad.
