    Itinerary

    Day 1:Casablanca - Rabat

Upon arrival in Casablanca, you’ll be welcomed and introduced to Morocco’s vibrant coastal energy. Before leaving the city, make a meaningful visit to the majestic Hassan II Mosque, a landmark known for its oceanfront location and stunning craftsmanship. Its towering minaret and intricate details make it an essential starting point for your journey.

Later, continue north to Rabat, Morocco’s capital. As the pace slows and the Atlantic breeze sets the tone, settle into your Riad and enjoy your first night in one of Morocco’s imperial cities.

    Day 2:Rabat - Chefchaouen

Begin the morning with an optional guided exploration of Rabat, a city that gracefully blends modern life with deep historical roots. Highlights include the serene Oudayas Kasbah, with its white-and-blue lanes overlooking the river; the impressive Hassan Tower and its unfinished mosque; the elegant Mausoleum of Mohammed V; and the atmospheric ruins of Chellah, wrapped in lush gardens. This enriching start perfectly complements the cultural depth travelers seek in a 2 week Morocco trip.

After your city visit, the journey continues toward the Rif Mountains, where the road winds through rolling hills and peaceful valleys until reaching Chefchaouen, famous worldwide for its blue-washed beauty. This picturesque stop captures the essence of a well-designed 14 days Morocco tour, offering both tranquility and authentic charm. Settle into your charming Riad for the night.

    Day 3:Full day in Chefchaouen

Spend the day enjoying Morocco’s beloved “Blue Pearl.” The route into Chefchaouen takes you across the Rif Mountains, whose highest peak Jbel Tidighine, at 2,456 meters dominates the horizon. Upon arrival, the town’s blue-tinted medina opens up like a dream. These calming shades date back to the 1930s when Jewish refugees painted their homes in symbolic tones of blue.

Wander through the peaceful alleys, admire traditional doorways, browse artisan shops, and enjoy mountain views at every corner. Dinner and overnight in a warm, authentic Dar (guesthouse).

    Day 4:Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Fes

After breakfast, begin your 14 Days Tour From Casablanca south toward Fes. Along the way, stop at Volubilis, one of the most significant Roman archaeological sites in North Africa.

Here, you’ll walk among ancient columns, restored mosaics, and remnants of villas that reflect centuries of history. After your visit, continue through the countryside toward Fes, where your Riad awaits inside or near the ancient medina.

    Day 5:Fes Guided Tour

Today is dedicated to discovering Fes, Morocco’s spiritual and intellectual heart. With an optional local guide, step into the UNESCO-listed Fes el-Bali, a medina with nearly 9,000 alleyways, each filled with life, tradition, and craftsmanship. The medina has remained largely unchanged since the Middle Ages, creating a beautifully preserved world of artisans, markets, mosques, and palaces.

Visit the historic Al-Karaouine University, considered the oldest continuously operating university on the planet. Explore the leather-dying quarter, where you’ll climb to a terrace overlooking the colorful vats of the Chouara Tannery, one of the city’s most iconic scenes. Return to your Riad for a restful evening.

    Day 6:Fes - Ifrane - Azrou - Erg Chebbi

Today, the landscapes begin to transform. Drive through Ifrane, known for its European-style architecture and clean mountain air, earning it the nickname “Little Switzerland.” Continue toward Azrou, where cedar forests are home to Barbary macaque monkeys.

The road then takes you through Midelt, crossing dramatic mountain scenery before descending into the lush Ziz Valley, a long stretch of palm groves leading toward the Sahara. By late afternoon, arrive at your Auberge near the Erg Chebbi dunes. Dinner and overnight stay.

    Day 7:Erg Chebbi Sahara Desert

This day is dedicated to the wonders of the Sahara. Begin with a 4×4 tour of the surrounding dunes and landscapes. Visit Khamlia village, known for its Gnawa musicians, and enjoy traditional music and hospitality. Continue to meet a nomadic family, where you’ll share tea and gain insight into desert life.

Later in the afternoon, embark on a camel trek deep into the dunes, stopping to watch the sun set over the golden sands. Arrive at your private desert camp for dinner beneath the stars and a night in a Berber-style tent. For those who prefer, you may choose to watch the sunset by camel and return to the Auberge instead of camping.

Day 8:Erg Chebbi - Dades Valley - Ouarzazate

Wake early to witness sunrise over the dunes, a peaceful moment worth capturing. After breakfast at the Auberge, begin your journey toward Ouarzazate. A detour leads you through the dramatic Todra Gorge, one of Morocco’s most impressive natural landmarks, famous for its towering rock walls.

Continue driving through the Dades Valley, a scenic route filled with kasbahs, rose fields, and palm groves. In Ouarzazate, visit the historic Taourirt Kasbah, once part of the influential Glaoui dynasty. Dinner and overnight at a charming Riad.

Day 9:Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakech

Before leaving the region, visit the legendary Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage ksar that has served as a filming location for numerous movies and series. Its earthen architecture and hillside layout make it one of Morocco’s most striking historic sites.

After your visit, begin the scenic drive across the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, weaving through the High Atlas Mountains until reaching Marrakech. Transfer to your Riad for the night.

    Day 10:Marrakech Guided Tour

Explore Marrakech with an optional private guide. Visit landmarks such as the Koutoubia Mosque, wander the lively souks, and uncover the medina’s hidden gems. Highlights may include Ben Youssef Medersa, the Saadian Tombs, the elegant Bahia Palace, and the colorful Majorelle Gardens.

    Day 11:Marrakech - Essaouira

Travel west toward the coastal city of Essaouira. Along the way, stop at a local women’s Argan oil cooperative, where you can see the traditional production process. Continue to Essaouira, known for its fishing harbor, 18th-century ramparts, and charming medina, which blends Moorish and Portuguese influences. Enjoy the afternoon exploring artisan shops, seaside cafés, and the historic fortified walls. Overnight in a Riad.

    Day 12:Essaouira

A full free day to unwind in one of Morocco’s most relaxed towns. Walk along the beach, browse art galleries, enjoy seafood restaurants, or simply soak in the cool coastal ambiance. Essaouira is also famous for its Gnaoua music festival, adding to its artistic reputation. Another peaceful night in your Riad.

    Day 13:Essaouira - Marrakech

Return to Marrakech in the morning. The rest of the day is yours for last-minute shopping, enjoying a hammam, or savoring mint tea on a rooftop overlooking the lively Jemaa el-Fnaa square. Overnight in a Riad.

    Day 14:Airport Transfer

At the appropriate time, transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
