    Itinerary

Day 1: Casablanca - Azemmour - El Jadida

Your 7 Days In Morocco Starting In Casablanca begins with a warm welcome at Casablanca airport, followed by a scenic drive south along the Atlantic coast. Your first stop is Azemmour, a peaceful riverside town once occupied by the Portuguese. As you wander its narrow lanes, you’ll notice remnants of its past fortified walls, old gateways, and houses marked with centuries of cultural layering.

After exploring Azemmour, continue toward El Jadida, a former Portuguese citadel recognized today as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Spend your afternoon strolling along massive ramparts overlooking the ocean, exploring the medina, and taking in its mix of Portuguese and Moroccan architecture. The views at sunset are particularly memorable.

    Day 2:El Jadida - Oualidia

This morning, follow the coastline toward the tranquil bay of Oualidia, a destination loved by locals for its simplicity and natural beauty. The lagoon’s calm waters make it a perfect spot to unwind; the sandy beaches here feel sheltered and peaceful compared to other Atlantic shores.

Oualidia is Morocco’s oyster capital, and you’ll have the chance to taste fresh seafood right by the water. You may also enjoy optional activities such as kayaking on the lagoon, birdwatching, or taking a gentle boat ride with local fishermen.

    Day 3:Oualidia - Safi - Essaouira

After breakfast, continue your coastal drive south with spectacular ocean views accompanying you along the route. Arrive in Safi, a town known for pottery craftsmanship, a lively fishing port, and impressive remnants of Portuguese rule.

Explore Ksar el Bahr, an oceanside fortress built in the 16th century, and wander through the old medina, where you’ll pass workshops, local markets, and historic streets. A visit to the well-known Portuguese Chapel, built in 1519, provides fascinating insight into the city’s layered past.

Continue to Essaouira, once called Mogador. This breezy fishing town is famous for its annual Gnaoua Music Festival, vibrant artistic culture, and relaxed coastal atmosphere.

    Day 4:Full day in Essaouira

Today is dedicated to discovering the charm of Essaouira, a UNESCO-listed medina known for its blue-and-white walls, bustling artisan workshops, and impressive sea-facing ramparts, a perfect addition to any morocco week itinerary. Wander through its narrow lanes, browse local art galleries, and watch fishermen bringing in their daily catch at the historic port. If you’re a fan of outdoor activities, Essaouira’s long sandy beach is ideal for windsurfing, kitesurfing, or simply walking along the shoreline.

    Day 5: Essaouira - Marrakech

After breakfast, travel inland toward Marrakech, leaving the coast behind and entering a landscape of rolling plains and small villages. Once in the city, enjoy a free afternoon to soak up its unique atmosphere.

Head to Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, where storytellers, musicians, and food stalls create a lively scene. Sip Moroccan mint tea on a rooftop terrace while watching the square come alive as day turns into night.

    Day 6:Guided Tour in Marrakech

An optional full-day guided tour allows you to explore Marrakech in depth with an official local guide. Visit iconic sites including the Koutoubia Mosque, the maze-like souks, and historical monuments such as the Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace, and the beautifully curated Majorelle Gardens. This immersive experience offers the kind of cultural insight many travelers look for when planning a casablanca 1 week tour, as it adds rich context to Morocco’s most vibrant imperial city. Your guide will share stories about the city’s past, its architectural heritage, and hidden corners often missed by visitors.

    Day 7:Transfer to the Airport

Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy a final walk through the medina or a relaxing breakfast before your private transfer to the airport.
