    Itinerary

    Day 1:Arrival in Fes

Your 9 Days Morocco Itinerary From Fes begins the moment you land in Fes, where a private transfer will take you to your traditional riad. Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to wander the nearby streets, enjoy mint tea in a calm courtyard, or simply rest. Fes sets the tone for the days ahead authentic, historic, and full of character.

Day 2:Exploring the Ancient Heart of Fes

Today you have the option to join a guided tour through one of the world’s most intricate medinas. With nearly 9,000 streets, Fes Medina is a living museum, where artisans shape copper, weave fabrics, and dye leather using centuries-old methods.

Your guide will lead you through the historic quarters surrounding the Al Quaraouiyine Mosque and University, considered the oldest continuously operating educational institution in the world.

You will also explore the vibrant tanneries from a terrace above, offering a fascinating view of the colorful dye pits. Return to your riad for a peaceful evening immersed in the city’s medieval charm.

    Day 3:Fes - Ifrane - Azrou - Erg Chebbi

After breakfast, the landscape begins to change dramatically as you leave Fes. Your first stop is Ifrane, known for its European-style architecture, alpine climate, and clean boulevards. It feels unlike any other place in Morocco.

The journey continues through the Cedar Forest of Azrou, where you may encounter Barbary macaques roaming among ancient trees. As the day progresses, the scenery shifts from mountains to desert plains until finally the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi appear on the horizon.

Day 4:Full Day in Erg Chebbi

This day is devoted to exploring the region around Merzouga. You’ll visit Khamlia, a village known for its Gnawa music, where locals perform spiritual rhythms passed down through generations.

Later, you’ll share tea with a nomadic family living in the desert, gaining insight into a way of life shaped by sand and silence. You’ll also drive along portions of the legendary Paris–Dakar route, experiencing the thrill of off-road terrain. Return to your auberge for dinner and another calm night in the desert.

    Day 5:Erg Chebbi - Alnif - Agdz - Ouarzazate

Rise early to admire the sunrise over the dunes, an unforgettable moment as colors shift across the sand. After breakfast, you begin your trip westward. The journey passes through Alnif, known for its fossils and desert scenery, and continues toward Agdz, the gateway to the Drâa Valley.

The lush date palms of the Drâa region offer a refreshing contrast to the desert. From there, the road continues to Ouarzazate, a city famous for film studios and fortress-like architecture. You will visit or admire the Kasbah of Taourirt, once home to the ruling Glaoui family.

    Day 6:Ouarzazate - High Atlas - Marrakech

Your 9 days morocco trip continues through one of Morocco’s most impressive mountain passes: Tizi n’Tichka, reaching over 2,200 meters. As you drive, you’ll witness breathtaking landscapes, terraced villages, winding mountain roads, and peaks that shift in color depending on the light.

Once you reach Marrakech, the afternoon is yours to enjoy freely. Many travelers choose to head straight to Jemaa el Fna Square, where storytellers, food stalls, musicians, and performers bring the city to life from sunset to late evening.

Day 7:Guided Exploration of Majestic Marrakech

If you opt for a guided tour today, you’ll experience Marrakech through its most iconic landmarks. Visit the Koutoubia Mosque, wander through the maze of the souks, and explore treasures like the Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace, Ali Ben Youssef Koranic School, and the enchanting Majorelle Gardens with its striking cobalt-blue buildings. After a full day of discovery, return to your riad for another comfortable night in the Red City.

    Day 8:Marrakech - Casablanca - Rabat

Today’s route takes you toward Morocco’s modern identity. In Casablanca, you will stop to visit the breathtaking Hassan II Mosque, one of the tallest and most stunning mosques in the world, built partially over the Atlantic Ocean.
