    Itinerary

    Day 1:Fes - Ifrane - Azrou - Erg Chebbi

Your 3 days camel trekking from Fes begins as you leave the vibrant streets of Fez and gradually enter the scenic landscapes of the Middle Atlas. The first stop is the elegant town of Ifrane, recognized for its alpine architecture and cool climate. Its clean streets and cobblestone paths give the impression of a small European village nestled inside Morocco.

A short drive leads you to the lush cedar forests of Azrou, home to centuries-old trees and wild Barbary macaques. This peaceful area offers a refreshing break, with opportunities to walk, take photos, and enjoy the beauty of nature.

As you continue south, the scenery transforms dramatically. The green mountains fade into rocky plateaus and eventually into the sweeping desert. By late afternoon, the glowing dunes of Erg Chebbi appear on the horizon. You check into a charming auberge built in a Saharan style, perfectly positioned at the edge of the dunes.
After settling into your stylish room, enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner and relax while the quiet desert begins to sparkle beneath the night sky.

Day 2:Full Exploration of the Erg Chebbi Region

The second day is dedicated to discovering the cultural and natural richness of the Sahara. After breakfast, you begin with a visit to Khamlia, a village known for its Gnawa musicians whose rhythmic chants and traditional instruments offer a unique insight into Saharan heritage.

Your journey continues to the surrounding desert, where you meet nomadic families living in tents far from the towns. Sharing tea with them is a meaningful experience that reveals the simplicity and hospitality of desert life.

You then head toward the wide seasonal lake of Merzouga, which, when filled, attracts migratory birds and adds a surprising touch of greenery to the desert landscape. The surrounding oases offer beautiful views and a refreshing contrast to the dunes.

In the late afternoon, prepare for one of the highlights of the tour: a camel trek across the golden sands. As you ride deeper into the dunes, the changing colors of the sunset create an unforgettable scene.

Your evening unfolds in a private Berber camp, where dinner is served beneath a star-filled sky. Enjoy the peaceful silence of the Sahara before spending the night in your traditional nomad tent.

Day 3:Erg Chebbi - Errachidia - Ziz Valley - Fes

After a calm night in the dunes, savor breakfast at the camp before beginning your return journey to Fez. The road takes you through Errachidia, a gateway town surrounded by impressive landscapes.

A highlight of the drive is the magnificent Ziz Valley, one of Morocco’s largest palm-filled oases. You’ll stop at scenic viewpoints to admire the sweeping greenery nestled between rugged cliffs an ideal moment for photographs.

Continuing north, you pass the historic Tunnel de Légionnaire, built in the 1930s to open a passage through the mountains. The gorge here is carved by the Ziz River, creating a striking contrast between rock and water. By late afternoon, you arrive in Fes, where you will be transferred to your hotel.
    End of services.
