Day 1:Tangier - Chefchaouen

Your 6 days Morocco tour from Tangier begins where you are welcomed at the port or airport before setting off to explore one of Morocco’s most historically layered cities. With an optional local guide, stroll through the ancient Kasbah overlooking the strait, visit the beautifully preserved Sultan’s Palace (Dar el-Makhzen), and step inside museums showcasing Moroccan art and fascinating archaeological collections.

Later, the journey turns south toward the Rif Mountains. As the road climbs higher, panoramic views open across green valleys, cedar forests, and rugged peaks—including Jbel Tidighine, the highest point of the range. Day 2:Chefchaouen – A Full Day to Explore

This day is dedicated entirely to the serenity and charm of Chefchaouen, one of the most unforgettable stops on any 6 day trip Morocco Tangier journey. Wander at your own pace through the medina painted in endless shades of turquoise and sky blue. The town’s calming atmosphere makes it easy to spend hours discovering small art boutiques, atmospheric squares, local crafts, and family-run cafés tucked into hidden corners. For nature lovers, short walks toward the surrounding mountains offer wonderful viewpoints over the blue rooftops.

Day 3:Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Fes

After breakfast, you travel south through the countryside, where you’ll see the ruins of Volubilis. This UNESCO site was a once-thriving Roman city, with preserved mosaics, arches, and temples that are perfect for history lovers.

From there, you head to Fes, home to the country’s rich culture. As you arrive, you enter the city, surrounded by mosques, markets, and centuries-old traditions. You’ll stay in a Riad for the night.

Day 4:Fes – Guided Tour of the Medieval City

Today you’ll immerse yourself in the UNESCO-listed Fes Medina with an optional professional guide who will lead you through its tangle of nearly 9,000 narrow streets one of the richest cultural experiences included in any Tangier 6 day itinerary. Explore El-Karaouine University, the oldest continually operating university in the world, before continuing to the famous tanneries, where leather is prepared using ancient techniques. Visit artisan workshops, historic Quranic schools, and peaceful courtyards that reveal the medina’s architectural beauty. Evening at your Riad.

Day 5:Fes - Meknes - Rabat

Your day begins with a drive to Meknes, a city of grand gates and royal heritage. Visit the monumental Bab El Mansour, stroll through the old medina, and step inside the mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, one of Morocco’s most legendary rulers.

The route then continues toward Rabat, but before reaching the capital, stop again at the vast Roman city of Volubilis if you wish to spend more time exploring its archaeological wonders.

Upon arrival in Rabat, an optional guided tour introduces you to the city’s most iconic landmarks: the serene Oudayas Kasbah overlooking the river, the majestic Hassan Tower, the royal Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the tranquil gardens and necropolis of Chellah. Overnight at a Riad.
