The rest of the day is yours to unwind or start exploring the city at your own rhythm. Wander through the lively Jemaa el-Fnaa square, where storytellers, musicians, and food stalls create a captivating atmosphere. The surrounding souks are filled with handcrafted treasures, spices, leather goods, and colorful textiles. Overnight in a charming riad.

    Day 2:Marrakech Guided Exploration

This day offers an optional private guided tour with an official Marrakech guide perfect for gaining deeper insights into the city’s rich heritage. You’ll begin with the Koutoubia Mosque, an impressive landmark visible from miles away, before stepping into the maze-like Medina. Your guide will lead you through traditional markets and artisan quarters. Continue to the Ali Ben Youssef Medersa, one of the most beautiful examples of Islamic architecture in Morocco. Then visit the Saadian Tombs and explore the serene Bahia Palace with its intricate courtyards. Your final stop may include the iconic Majorelle Garden, known for its cobalt-blue architecture and exotic plants. Return to your riad for the night.

    Day 3:Marrakech → Casablanca → Rabat

After breakfast, your 8 days tour from marrakech continues north toward Morocco’s Atlantic coastline. Your first major stop is Casablanca, the country’s modern and cosmopolitan hub. Here, you will visit the Hassan II Mosque an extraordinary piece of architecture built beside the ocean, featuring impressive mosaics, marble columns, and the tallest minaret in the world.

The road then leads you to Rabat, Morocco’s elegant capital. You may opt for a guided tour to explore the Oudayas Kasbah with its white-and-blue alleyways, stroll through the tranquil Chellah Necropolis and gardens, and admire the iconic Hassan Tower and Mohammed V Mausoleum. Overnight in a charming riad.

    Day 4:Rabat → Meknes → Volubilis → Fes

Your journey continues toward the imperial city of Meknes. As you arrive, you’ll visit the historic square and admire Bab Mansour one of Morocco’s grandest gateways, famed for its zellij tilework and monumental arches. Next, you’ll travel to the ancient Roman city of Volubilis. Walk among temples, basilicas, and well-preserved mosaics that offer a glimpse into Morocco’s Roman past. As the afternoon unfolds, the landscape softly transforms as you approach Fes, the country’s spiritual and cultural heart. Settle into your riad for the night.

Day 5:Full-Day Guided Tour of Fes

With an optional professional guide, prepare to immerse yourself in one of the world’s most fascinating medieval cities. Fes el-Bali, the old Medina, is a labyrinth of over 9,000 narrow alleys, making local expertise invaluable. You’ll explore bustling tanneries, artisan workshops, ancient caravanserais, and the University of Al-Qarawiyyin, considered the oldest continuously operating university in the world. The Medina’s atmosphere has remained unchanged for centuries, creating an authentic time-travel experience. After a day filled with history and craftsmanship, return to your riad for a peaceful evening.

    Day 6:Fes → Ifrane → Azrou → Midelt → Ziz Valley → Erg Chebbi

Your desert adventure begins around 9 a.m. as you head south through ever-changing landscapes. The first stop is Ifrane, often called “the Switzerland of Morocco” for its alpine-style architecture and clean mountain air. From there, continue to Azrou, home to cedar forests and Barbary macaques. The road leads through Midelt before opening up into the lush Ziz Valley, filled with palm groves stretching along a dramatic canyon.

By the afternoon, you will reach the dunes of Erg Chebbi, your gateway to the Sahara. After a short rest, begin your camel trek into the golden dunes, stopping to watch the sun dip below the horizon. Enjoy dinner under a sky crowded with stars and spend the night in a private Berber-style desert tent. If you prefer not to camp, you may return to the auberge after your camel ride.

Day 7:Erg Chebbi → Todra Gorge → Ouarzazate

Wake early to witness sunrise over the Sahara before riding camels back to the auberge. Your 8 Days Sahara Tour from marrakech then heads west toward the breathtaking Todra Gorge, where sheer cliffs rise high above a narrow riverbed. Take time to walk the canyon floor and enjoy the refreshing atmosphere. Continue through the Dades region before arriving in Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa.” Explore the historic Taourirt Kasbah, once home to the influential Glaoui family. Enjoy dinner and spend the night at a traditional riad.

Day 8:Ouarzazate → Ait Ben Haddou → Marrakech

After breakfast, you’ll travel to the spectacular ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of Morocco’s most iconic filming locations. Wander through its earthen alleys and enjoy panoramic views from the fortified granary.
